Before this incredible adventure called Motherhood I was the proud owner of a wonderful art centre for kids. What a cool experience. I spent my days covered in paint, glitter and glue, laughing and creating. It was a hard decision to close that chapter of my life but, after spending so many years sharing my love with other people’s children, I was more than ready to give all that I had to my own.

This blog began out of a simple idea: my desire to create healthy and delicious recipes for my family and to capture those moments in life that are too often forgotten. What started as a small project soon became so much bigger and more wonderful than I could have imagined!

Our home is in Toronto, surrounded by our wonderful collection of friends and family including my super smart and handsome husband, our hilarious and sweet daughter Poppy, our pug, my awesome and talented twin sister, 3 sets of parents and many of Poppy’s loving aunts and uncles. Sprinkle on a goofy group of great friends and there you have it, a “small” incredible group that I get to cook for, photograph and love.
